Saint Paul is Blooming!

Saint Paul is Blooming! 273 230 Saint Paul Garden Club

The Blooming Saint Paul Showcase is a collaboration between the City of Saint Paul, Saint Paul Garden Club, and Saint Paul Master Gardeners. The Showcase highlights and honors amazing gardens as well as stories from residents and business owners who are dedicated to enhancing the Saint Paul community through gardening.

We are honored to be a part of this effort since 2011 to create a more vital and natural environment in Saint Paul. You can nominate a garden for the 2025 Showcase in two ways:

Use this link to a nomination form, and submit by Friday, August 1, 2025.  Anyone may nominate admirable gardens and spaces in Saint Paul during the nomination period.

You may also join us for one or more community nominating events throughout the city on Mondays and Tuesdays in July. The nominating events are a great way to spend time with friends, chat with fellow gardeners, and tour all the colorful and vibrant gardens of Saint Paul.

Rice Park Maintenance

Rice Park Maintenance 1536 2048 Saint Paul Garden Club

Throughout the year, our club has the privilege and responsibility of tending the urns and south gardens in Saint Paul’s premier park. As a team, we are more than up to the task. Please sign up to help with maintenance. This is a manageable task, usually only a couple of hours.

We usually work in pairs. If you don’t have a partner, no worries. We’re sure someone will sign up and join you.  If not, please contact one of our committee members and we’ll be sure you don’t go alone.

Members…stay in the loop by checking the calendar regularly for updates and SignUpGenius links.

And, if you are scheduling a new meeting, field trip, workshop, or other activity, whether it’s for a small number of members, or  the entire club, please check the website calendar for conflicts and make every effort not to schedule events on top of previously scheduled  ones.

Please contact the Programs Committee chair, Gretchen Cudak, [email protected] to confirm the date is open, then contact one of the following members of the Communication Committee:  Christine,  [email protected], Becky, [email protected], or Sue, [email protected], and ask them to add your event to the website calendar page, so other activities are not scheduled  for the same time. Members will appreciate you!
