Presenter: Regan Golden, Artist and Associate Professor of Fine Art at the Minneapolis College
of Art & Design.
Regan is a painter and photographer focused on native plants in Minnesota. Through her
intricate watercolor paintings and detailed photographs, she celebrates the resilience of these
remarkable plants as a source of power and healing. Regan will give a brief artist talk and share
some of her artwork, as well as the beautiful books about plants and gardens that inspire her
work. Join Regan for this unique view into her art practice and a peek into the wonderful
collection of botanical books at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design Library.
