A well-known and beloved National Geographic documentary photographer\, his body of work covers significant conservation and environmental work ranging from feeding the world to the importance of our night skies. Along with stories from his journeys\, Jim is ready to explain why\, our iPhones and smartphones\, are indeed worthy co-authors of the stories we each wish to tell — and how we can make the most of our portable camera’s features and settings. \nClub Chairman and Zone Reps will want to pay attention when we present the journey of a group of photography friends\, “The Imogenes.” Like a game of telephone\, they communicated with each other through photos\, resulting in the “Visual Conversations Project.” We’ll take a tour of their story and interview members of the group on how this all came about.
